AC Milan midfielder Clarence Seedorf has slaughtered Roma's summer market work. The Dutchman told Radio Incontro: "For me, Roma were always going to have a difficult season. They sold a player like Mancini, who in my opinion was critical for them. I think the signings they made weren't what was expected.
"Moreover, the absence of Francesco Totti also goes a long way to explaining the Giallorossi's start to the season."
Seedorf added: "However, Roma do have a coach (Luciano Spalletti) with clear ideas. Once they find the right attitude, they will produce a very good football."
