Seedorf, who has been playing in an attacking role for much of the season, was forced back into midfield as coach Carlo Ancelotti paired Pato in attack with Ronaldo and was rewarded with a 5-2 victory over Napoli last night.

"I knew that things would go well," Seedorf told Gazzetta dello Sport, "but I cannot deny that going back to being a midfielder for me is a sacrifice."
