AC Milan's Kalac: Serie A have world's best keepers

Australian goalkeeper Zeljko Kalac is in line to make a comeback for AC Milan against Juventus. "Third place is very important to our Club because it means we qualify for Champions League next year. We would like to fight on for second place ... top spot seems too hard, given Inter's strong lead," conceded the Australian.

"This season has been horrendous for the amount of players injured and unavailable for selection … I've never seen anything like it. It really has been quite extraordinary."

With Christian Abbiati's injury, Kalac has a chance to win back his place between the posts.

"The important thing is the team. AC Milan are really fortunate to have three experienced performers in the goalkeeping ranks. Along with myself and Abbiati, we have Brazilian Dida."

It is arguable that Juve and Inter have the two of the greatest keepers in world football at present.

"I think that in Italy there are two outstanding, Gigi Buffon first, and very closely followed by Julio Cesar. Add to Buffon and Julio Cesar my teammates in Abbiati and Dida and you have four of the world's best."
