AC Milan midfielder Yoann Gourcuff admits he is off form.

"I am here to improve and play regularly, even if it is not easy because there is a lot of competition," said Gourcuff after last night's 1-1 draw with Lazio. "We are strongest team in the world and I have to be ready for when the coach selects me.

"Ever since I arrived at Milan I've been very happy with my progress, I've improved so much."

Gourcuff added: "We'll sit down together with the leaders of Milan at the end of the season to see what is best for Milan and for me personally."
