AC Milan midfielder Emerson was delighted to take part in last night's thrilling 2-2 draw at UEFA Cup rivals Portsmouth.
The Brazilian veteran said: "I'm happy with my performance. I was talking with my teammates after the game telling them that it is not easy for me as a player that plays little, managing well the ninety minutes, perhaps helped by my experience.
"It's been now 20 days since I played, but physically I'm better.
"Ronaldinho hit a fantastic free kick. I joked with him before the match in Turin, saying that it had been a while since he'd scored from a free-kick, and now we are already talking about two goals.
"He feels good, feels at home and is making a difference by putting the ball where he wants to. This is a gift."
