AC Milan midfielder David Beckham is backing former club Manchester United to win the Champions League this season.

"This season I would like to see a Manchester v Barcelona final," said Beckham in an interview with Gazzetta dello Sport.

"My former team-mates would win because at this time they are the strongest for any opponent. Even if Liverpool have (Steven) Gerrard, who is one of the best in the world."
