After their draw with BATE Borisov, AC Milan midfielder Alberto Aquilani delivered an update on Antonio Cassano's condition.

Aquilani was naturally also asked about Cassano, who is in hospital with a mystery illness.

"I talked to Antonio via text message and he told me he's relaxed. I've known him for many, many years and he often helped me out. I care for him and this news shocked all of us, so we can't wait to hug him," said the former Roma man.

"We wanted to come here and get the three points, but instead we didn't finish off the game despite a well-played first half and bring back an unconvincing point.

"It felt as if we switched off after conceding the goal, BATE gained confidence and that prompted the result. If Barcelona win tonight, then we're practically qualified, so we can focus on finishing first later on."
