Carlo Ancelotti's focus remains constant despite the very real likelihood of AC Milan losing Brazilian ace Kaka. Speaking at a press conference today, Ancelotti remained calm and matter of fact when quizzed on the impact Kaka's departure could make.
"I think there is a deal being discussed, something both the club and player must discuss together.
"I hope to keep coaching Kaka for many years, but we must face facts and consider the likelihood of a deal.
"It is normal that great importance is placed on him and for what he brings to AC Milan.
"Our objectives remain the same, with or without Kaka. We must qualify for the Champions League and win the UEFA Cup and these are goals which we will pursue with or without Kaka.
"The squad remains competitive even if we have to lose an important player."
