AC Milan management do not intend a major overhaul of the squad in the summer. Despite this week's humiliation at Manchester United, Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan chiefs will stand by their playing staff.

Cagliari defender Davide Astori, who is in co-ownership with Milan, will return to the San Siro, while in midfield, veteran pair Rino Gattuso and Andrea Pirlo will be supported by Mathieu Flamini.

Rossoneri coach Leonardo will be told to give Flamini a chance to prove himself in the remaining games of this season.

Klaas-Jan Huntelaar will be sold after the World Cup, but again, there will be no overhaul in attack, with Alexandre Pato and Marco Borriello doing enough this season to convince management.
