AC Milan will include Robinho in January rescue bid for Chelsea striker Torres

Chelsea are set to be offered the chance to bring Robinho back to England.

Italian sources say AC Milan plan to include the former Manchester City flop in their offer for Fernando Torres in January.

According to the Silvio Berlusconi owned television station Sportmediaset, Torres could be on his way to AC Milan in a swap deal for Robinho.

Milan were among the chasing pack for Torres when he was an Atletico Madrid player and it has been reported they want to give him a chance in Serie A following his testing period in London.

But it has been reported Chelsea would be more open to the switch if they received Alexandre Pato in return, but Milan are only willing to do business for Robinho, who joined City for £32.5m from Real Madrid but was sold to Milan for just £15m two years later.
