AC Milan warned of competition for Catania striker Maxi Lopez

Catania have warned AC Milan they won't have a clear run at Maxi Lopez.

Maxi is expected to join Milan in January.

“We know that the player has expressed an interest in Milan and we have told him our opinion,” director Pietro Lo Monaco told Sky Sport Italia.

“We know the position of Milan and they know our position on the matter.

“We’ll see what happens over the next few days, but I can confirm that there are other clubs who have asked us for him too.

“It must mean that the player is greatly admired.”
