AC Milan want Ronaldinho to take pay-cut to extend contract

AC Milan want Ronaldinho to take a pay-cut.

In a sure sign of finances being reigned in at the fallen European giants, Corriere dello Sport says Milan want to extend Ronie's contract - but on reduced terms.

The former Barcelona star is currently on €8 million-a-year to 2012 and Milan are keen to extend that to 2014, but on terms of €6 million-a-year.

Ronaldinho's brother and agent, Roberto de Assis, has already met with Milan vice-president Adriano Galliani to discuss the proposal.
