Sampdoria defender Paolo Sammarco is set to return to AC Milan.

The two clubs are in co-ownership for the young centre-half and Tuttosport says Milan want to re-sign him at the end of the season.

Cristian Brocchi has handed in his transfer request and Milan hope to use him in a swap for Samp's 50 per cent of Sammarco's registration.
