AC Milan see Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez as an ideal replacement for Liverpool bound Mario Balotelli. The Daily Star says the Italian club are selling Balotelli in order to rebuild their squad following last season's dismal eighth place finish in Serie A.
According to reports in Italy, Hernandez is top of the club's list to replace Liverpool-bound Balotelli with Louis van Gaal thought to be willing to ditch the Mexican.
Hernandez, 26, started Saturday's 2-1 home defeat to Swansea but was hauled off at half-time for the now departed Nani.
Italian rivals Juventus and Inter Milan are also interested in the striker, who was told by his national team coach to quit Old Trafford.
