AC Milan veteran Inzaghi shock Man City target

AC Milan veteran striker Pippo Inzaghi is a shock target for Manchester City.

The Daily Mail says City boss Roberto Mancini is ready to bring in a major new signing from Italy if City allow Robinho to go.

With Benjani being strongly linked with a move to West Ham, Roque Santa Cruz sidelined for a month with a calf injury suffered at Everton two Saturdays ago and doubts over Emmanuel Adebayor’s mental state after he returned from Africa following the Togo ***** attack, Mancini will not allow Robinho to leave without first lining up a replacement.

Inzaghi would be a short-term option until the summer, when he is expected to join Parma from Milan, but a loan deal for the 36-year-old Italy international could become complicated if Milan also allow Klaas-Jan Huntelaar to leave the San Siro.
