AC Milan veteran Inzaghi confident Italy will come good

AC Milan veteran Pippo Inzaghi is confident Italy will find form in South Africa.

Inzaghi has faith in the current crop of Italy strikers to find the net at the 2010 World Cup.

"Do the Azzurri need more experienced forwards? I have been through three World Cups and had great joy in 2006, now I'm cheering on those who are in the squad," he told Sky Sport Italia.

The initial 1-1 draw with Paraguay followed on from disappointing friendly results against Mexico and Switzerland.

On Sunday they take on New Zealand in a must-win game.

"The first matches are always like this and tomorrow with a victory the side would immediately find the right rhythm," said the Milan veteran.

"All the Italy strikers are very talented. Alberto Gilardino and Giampaolo Pazzini are both great players and lovely lads.

"We hope to get all three points tomorrow against New Zealand, as that would be very important for qualification."
