AC Milan veteran Gattuso hails Berlusconi for keeping Pato

Rino Gattuso felt AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi was decisive in keeping hold of Alexandre Pato.

They were ready to sell Alexandre Pato in order to raise €35m, but on Thursday the Brazilian turned down a move to Paris Saint-Germain.

“President Silvio Berlusconi was decisive in the Pato affair. After all, he’s only 22 years old and has scored 50 goals…

“I was also not remotely surprised that Massimiliano Allegri signed a contract extension. That was obviously going to happen.”
