AC Milan are on the brink of announcing the signing of Barcelona fullback Gianluca Zambrotta.

Controcampo says Milan have been in lengthy talks with Zambrotta's agent, Beppe Bonetto, and an announcement is soon set to confirm the Italy international's move to the San Siro.
