AC Milan are prepared to move for Chelsea captain Gary Cahill next month - if he goes public with his intentions.

Tuttsport says Cahill, 33, fancies testing himself abroad and has welcomed interest from Milan.

The Rossonero would take Cahill immediately next month, despite the defender being off contract in June.

However, everything will depend on Cahill pushing from his end for Chelsea to allow him to leave on a free transfer.

Milan, with financial fair play concerns, will not consider paying any type of significant fee for the veteran in January.
