AC Milan are making a late bid to trump Inter for Fluminense defender Thiago Silva.

Inter are in advanced negotiations with Fluminense over a January deal for the Brazil international, whose agent is due in Milan next week.

However, Gazzetta dello Sport says the Rossoneri will also sound out Silva's representative about his situation.
