AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi is chasing Arsenal midfielder Mathieu Flamini.
The Sunday Mirror says Berlusconi is aware that Flamini - who was 24 last Friday - is available on a free transfer in June when his current contract at Arsenal expires in the summer.
Talks between the player's representatives and Arsenal are on-going with both Flamini and manager Arsene Wenger making optimistic noises that the France international will make a long-term commitment to the club before the end of the season.
But nothing has been agreed or signed and Milan are ready to move in if they are given the slightest encouragement.
