AC Milan have tabled a new contract to Alessio Romagnoli.

The defender's current deal runs to 2020.

Mediaset Premium says the club wants to ensure Romagnoli is locked down for the present and future.

A meeting is set with agent Sergio Berti to discuss extending his current contract to June 2023.

His salary of €2m per year will also be bumped up to €3.5-4m.
