AC Milan striker Alexandre Pato has been ruled out for the year.
Pato will be out for six weeks and now won't be back until 2011 after suffering a thigh injury.
It was initially thought that the Brazil international striker faced just 14 days on the sidelines, but a follow up scan shows his injury is much more severe.
