Manchester City are continuing to run the rule over AC Milan striker Luca Scapuzzi.

Boss Roberto Mancini has handed Scapuzzi, 20 - valued at just £100,000 - a chance after spotting his promise as a youth player when coaching Inter Milan.

After failing to break through at Milan, Scapuzzi was loaned to Serie B club Portogruago last season and failed to score in 22 games.

But he notched in the 3-0 win over a League of Ireland XI in the Dublin Super Cup.
