AC Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has cooled talk of retirement in three years' time.
Ibrahimovic gave an interview with Vanity Fair that was released yesterday in which he was asked how long he would keep on playing for.
"Three years at the maximum. You have to stop when you are at the top," was the published reply.
However, Ibra released a statement on the official club website this evening with a very different view.
"It is not my intention to stop playing in three years, especially as my contract with Milan only expires in 2014.
"I'd also like to point out that my transfer to Barcelona in the summer of 2009 was wanted exclusively by me."
