AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain is expected in London on Friday for a Chelsea medical.

Corriere dello Sport says Higuain is all set to join Chelsea in the next 24 hours.

The newspaper does not disclose the terms of the 31-year-old's move to Stamford Bridge, but he is expected to join the Blues on an initial loan until the end of the season with the option for a further campaign.

As a replacement, Milan are in talks with Genoa for Krzysztof Piatek and a deal will happen once the Juventus loanee lands in London.
