AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain has apologised after being sent off in defeat to Juventus.
The match saw Higuain miss a spotkick and also sent off against his old club.
"I want to apologise to the team, the fans and the coach for the reaction I had, the referee knows what I told him and I think sometimes they have to understand the situation, but the decision was made and I apologise again," said Higuain.
"I had missed the penalty, we were losing and we're not robots, but that does not explain anything. I have a great relationship with the Juventus players and it was nice that everyone came up to stop me.
"It was a bad game, mainly for me, and I do not have much to add."
