AC Milan striker Stephan El Shaarawy admits Manchester City were keen on him over the summer.
City and Real Madrid made attempts for the Italy international.
"I was very happy Manchester City and Real Madrid wanted to sign me, but I want to stay where I am," he said.
"I am a Milan fan and Milan is my home. This is a big club that is aiming very high."
