AC Milan striker Carlos Bacca admits West Ham pushed hard to sign him last summer.
Milan were prepared to sell the Colombian, but Bacca in the end chose to stay.
"West Ham was a team that was very insistent," he revealed to Corriere dell Sera, "but continuing here was the best decision.
"The young rosoneros? We have many good players like Niang or Donnarumma, through to Locatelli, Calabria or Romagnoli.
"It will not be easy for the club to retain them in the coming years, but we're all happy to be at Milan."
