AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli was delighted with his double in victory over Palermo.
Balotelli, who was born in Palermo, converted a penalty and tapped in an M'Baye Niang assist to secure the 2-0 victory.
"We won, which was the important thing. It went badly in Barcelona, but we have recovered," he told Sky Sport Italia.
Having already played for Manchester City in the Champions League, Balotelli was unable to play in the Round of 16 clash.
"How would it have been with me in Barcelona? Maybe we would've lost 8-0! We were just unlucky and there are many great champions in this team."
