AC Milan striker Mario Balotelli has gone into meltdown after being sent off for Italy in their World Cup qualifying draw with the Czech Republic.

He was furious and punched the perspex wall of the dugout, then kicked the tunnel as he left the field.

"Was it a red card? You watch the footage back and tell me," he snapped at reporters as he left the locker room.

Last night, he tweeted:

"Write what you want, but at the Confederations Cup you can support another country and I tell you that from the HEART," he wrote.

"Also, go back and watch the game carefully, ALL OF IT."
