Roma's French defender Philippe Mexes continues to be linked with a move to AC Milan despite denials from his agent.

Adriano Galliani has promised the delivery of a great defender as the rossoneri rebuild their defence, and despite his agent Olivier Jouanneaaux denying it, it appears Mexes is that defender.

Roma are reportedly in financial difficulties, meaning a high priced transfer which Mexes could command would be seen as a valid reason to make the sale.
