AC Milan starlet Paloschi staying grounded

AC Milan striker Alberto Paloschi stayed humble after scoring in this week's defeat by Sampdoria.

"There's some regret that we didn't get three points yesterday evening," Paloschi told the Milan Channel. "The way that the game went, a point would have been good, but we didn't manage it.

"One of my characteristics is that I keep believing to the end and chase every ball until it is off the pitch or the goalkeeper has it.

"At half-time yesterday, Pippo Inzaghi advised me to play between the two central defenders and a little deeper. He is always right and his words mean a lot to me.

"I see the youth team as my squad. I didn't expect to make so many appearances in the first-team this season because at the start of the campaign I was struggling to even get into the Primavera. I have worked hard and slowly arrived at this point."
