AC Milan are split over the identity of next season's coach.

Interim boss Cristian Brocchi is waiting for news if he will be kept on, with Milan in the process of being sold to a Chinese group.

Corriere della Sera says Brocchi has the backing of current president Silvio Berlusconi, while the Chinese want former Ajax coach Frank de Boer.

Milan GM Adriano Galliani, meanwhile, prefers Marco Giampaolo.

Milan's controlling company, Fininvest, are in talks to sell a 70 per cent majority share to the Chinese consortium.
