AC Milan captain Riccardo Montolivo insists their opening day defeat to Hellas Verona was a blip.
Milan face PSV Eindhoven tonight in the second-leg of their Champions League qualifier.
"There is a great desire to prove that we are not what we saw in Verona," said Montolivo. "Saturday was not us - we were so bad it wasn't true. We have to demonstrate that we have value.
"Beyond the economic impact that getting into the Champions League would have, we also have our pride.
"You can win, lose or draw, and play a good or bad game, but whatever happens you have to have a good attitude.
"We were all wrong at the weekend, so we are staring over again."
