AC Milan skipper Riccardo Montolivo was disappointed to miss the World Cup.
Montolivo expressed his sadness at the way Cesare Prandelli's tenure with the Azzurri came to an end.
"It wasn't easy to watch the World Cup from the outside and not be able to help out.
"It's a shame because in these four years with Prandelli we worked well. We will see what happens with the new CT, they will choose the right Coach."
