AC Milan cannot afford to turn down any major offer for Kaka, it has been revealed.

Gazzetta dello Sport says the silence from Milan that greeted last weekend's reports of a new move from Real Madrid presidential hopeful Florentino Perez suggests the door is open to a deal. Perez enjoys a good relationship with Galliani, forged during the creation of the G14.

Former Real president Ramon Calderon's pressing for Kaka would regularly be shot down publicly by Galliani and the current silence is being seen in Milan that negotiations are rumbling on.

Chelsea and Manchester City have also been mentioned as bidders for Kaka and it's mooted the £50 million offer linked with Perez will be used as a jumping off point ahead of a summer auction.
