AC Milan want a decision from Manchester City in ten days' time over Carlos Tevez's loan.
The Serie A giants are leading the race to sign Tevez after Juventus ruled out a move for the Argentinian.
AC Milan have reached a deal with Catania for the loan signing of Maxi Lopez, but it's been reported that the move will only go through should the San Siro club fail to land Tevez.
According to Sky Sport 24, Tevez, who refused to warm-up before City's Champions League tie at Bayern Munich in October and then failed to return to the club after going back to his native Argentina, has emerged as AC Milan's No 1 target when the transfer window re-opens in January.
