AC Milan have joined the race for Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini, according to Calcio Mercato.

United manager Jose Mourinho wants to keep Fellaini, but the player has not agreed on a new contract.

Many United fans would rather see the player move on, as he is a reminder of the poor transfer business done by former manager David Moyes.

But Fellaini is being courted by many European clubs, including the Italian giants Milan. They would be happy to bring the 30-year-old midfielder/attacker to Italy on a free transfer.

The likes of PSG, Juventus, Monaco and Besiktas also have some interest, while the Chinese Super League is also in contention for his signature.
