AC Milan defender Alessandro Nesta is being linked with a move to MLS club LA Galaxy. The 34-year old former Italy international is believed to be a strong target for the Galaxy, which of course is home to superstar David Beckham.
Milannews.it reports that Nesta, whose current contract expires at the end of the season (June), will not have his contract renewed by the Rossoneri and therefore a potential move abroad has merit.
Nesta has been with Milan since 2002, when he joined from Lazio. He has won two Serie A titles (2000 with Lazio and 2004 with Milan), three Coppa Italias, two Champions League titles and of course the 2006 World Cup with Italy.
The Galaxy have also been recently linked with Nesta's Milan teammate Ronaldinho but that deal looks unlikely to eventuate.
