AC Milan coach Leonardo is chasing Almeria goalkeeper Diego Alves.
AS says Leonardo wants to sign the Brazilian for next season and has discussed the deal with Milan patron Silvio Berlusconi, the Italian PM.
Alves, 24, has a buyout clause of £10 million, but Almeria will accept between £3-4 million for the shot-stopper.
Real Madrid are also chasing Alves, though only as cover for Iker Casillas. Leonardo wants Alves as his new No1 at Milan.
