AC Milan return to Barcelona talks for Ibrahimovic loan

AC Milan are returning to the negotiating table for Barcelona striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

Despite public clams that Barca want to keep hold of the Swede, their intermediaries have maintained contact with Milan about the prospect of sending him back to Italy.

Corriere dello Sport says Schalke's interest in Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has reignited talks between Barca and Milan about a deal for Ibra.

Should Schalke sign Huntelaar, the money raised will go to funding a Milan loan deal for Ibrahimovic - with the Rossoneri agreeing to cover half of his wages for the new season.

Meanwhile, Portsmouth midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has undergone a medical at the MilanLab.

Genoa are favourites for the Ghana international, but Milan are also in contact with Pompey about the midfielder's situation.
