AC Milan remain in the hunt for Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Axel Witsel.

Milan made a serious attempt to sign the Belgium international last summer.

Fichajes.com says Zenit are prepared to sell for a price of €40 million.

Witsel, who has also been linked with Juventus, has stated he'd welcome a move to Serie A.

The midfielder could become Milan's first signing of Bee Taechaubol, whose investment will become official next month.
