AC Milan pushing Arsenal chief Gazidis for answer

AC Milan want a decision this month from Arsenal chief exec Ivan Gazidis about a move to the Italian giants.

Milan's new owners, Elliott Management, want Gazidis to take charge of the club and ease the pressure on president Paolo Scaroni.

Gazidis is mulling over the proposal, says Tuttosport, but has been warned the Rossonero want a decision in the coming weeks.

Should Gazidis reject the offer, Milan will turn to AS Roma director Umberto Gandini.

For their part, Arsenal's board have begun to make contingency plans in the event Gazidis leaves.
