AC Milan are pushing hard to close a deal for Atalanta midfielder Franck Kessie.

On Saturday, the two clubs enjoyed positive negotiations over Kessie's transfer, with talks to continue this week.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Milan have given themselves an internal deadline to close a deal for Kessie inside the next fortnight.

The young Ivorian has become a priority target for the Rossoneri.

Kessie, however, is understood to be reluctant to commit to any Serie A move before hearing from new English champions Chelsea.
