AC Milan are chasing Leicester City goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel.
The Dane is off contract at the end of the season and has helped the Foxes win promotion back to the Premier League.
Il Giorno says Milan are keen to tempt Schmeichel to Italy in the summer as they seek a long-term successor for Christian Abbiati.
However, Schmeichel will seek clarification from Milan over reports of a Bosman deal for Chievo Verona goalkeeper Michele Agazzi before committing to any negotiations.
