AC Milan are pushing Chelsea to SELL Diego Costa this week.

Costa, who has been told to stay away from Chelsea's training ground, prefers to join Atletico Madrid, but they can't register any new players until January due to a transfer ban from Fifa.

The London Evening Standard says Atletico have been in discussions with Chelsea over a transfer, but have yet to get close to the asking price of around £50m.

AC Milan met with Costa's agent Jorge Mendes last week to discuss a few of his clients, including the Chelsea forward.

But the Serie A giants have intimated they're not prepared to sign him on a temporary basis just so that he can then join Atletico.
