AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi wants to bring Pep Guardiola to Italy. The Barcelona coach has announced he will be leaving his job at the end of the season.
La Repubblica says Berlusconi has told vice-president Adriano Galliani to go for Guardiola, no matter how the season ends under coach Massimiliano Allegri.
It's suggested Berlusconi's move for Guardiola will see Zlatan Ibrahimovic put up for sale in the summer. There are powerbrokers inside the boardroom unhappy with the Swede and a growing feeling the striker's days at Milan are now numbered.
Many directors feel Ibra's personality has overwhelmed the locker room to the point Milan only play to his strengths and quieter personalities, like Alexandre Pato, have suffered.
Berlusconi has had enough and is now ready to sell.
