AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has revived his bid for Chelsea striker Andriy Shevchenko.

Italian sources say Berlusconi has spoken with Shevchenko in recent days and knows the Ukraine international would jump at the chance of a return to the San Siro.

Berlusconi has already made Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich aware that he wants to re-sign Sheva, having met with the Russian billionaire in Sardinia earlier this month.

For his part, Sheva has already instructed real estate agents to find him and his family a new house in the city centre of Milan.
