AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi believes coach Leonardo gaffed in his selection for Saturday's derby defeat.

"Leonardo needs time," said the Italy PM. "Milan will be a winning team.

"I have in mind a tactical mistake that I had recommended (Clarence Seedorf behind the striker). I'd like to do the training but there is already a coach."
